What you’ll be doing:
Setting out works accurately in line with construction drawings and specifications
Translating design information onto site, ensuring works are delivered in the correct position and alignment
Supporting the delivery team with technical input to ensure quality and accuracy
Reviewing drawings and identifying potential technical issues before and during construction
Managing and recording setting‑out and quality information
Assisting with planning and sequencing of works to meet programme targets
Communicating technical information clearly to site operatives and supervisors
Ensuring health and safety standards and safe systems of work are followed on site
Supporting the preparation and completion of site documentation and handover records
What we’re looking for:
A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
Proven experience working on highways or infrastructure projects, including drainage, paving, kerbs or similar works
Strong understanding of setting out techniques and construction accuracy
Ability to plan works and understand activity durations to meet delivery targets
Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with site teams
Ability to use Microsoft Office and Excel
Some knowledge of the operation of AutoCAD
CSCS certification
SSSTS or equivalent construction management knowledge and experience
A full UK driving licence
Some site management or supervisory experience
Understanding of budgets for materials and resources
Experience using Microsoft Project
Experience working within organisations using both in‑house and subcontracted teams
First Aid at Work qualification
