WGM Engineering Ltd, part of RSK Group has an exciting vacancy for an Accounts Clerk to join our Finance Function on a permanent contract based in our Glasgow office with Hybrid working arrangements.

About the Role

Working as part of a collaborative Finance Team, you will provide accurate and efficient support across both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions. Your time will be split between both areas as required, ensuring timely processing, strong financial control, and excellent stakeholder service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, match, and accurately code supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with the “No PO, No Pay” policy.
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies, liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients as required.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Raise sales invoices and Credit Notes in line with client and company requirements.
  • Support credit control activities, including aged debt reporting, statement production, and client liaison.
  • Allocate receipts and maintain customer accounts, including credit limit monitoring.
  • Produce required finance and RSK Group reports.
  • Support system improvements and ERP implementation as the business continues to grow.

 

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, or Accounts Assistant role.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar finance environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.

  • £27,000 per annum/Full Time Equivalent.
