Stirling Council are looking for a fully qualified Food Safety Officer with experience working within Food Law and Health & Safety Regulation to contribute to the delivery of an effective, reliable and customer focused Regulatory Service.
You will undertake an enforcement role as an Officer in terms of all relevant legislation and assist in provision of technical support and advice to team members.
Subject to your qualifications you will be responsible for undertaking food law inspections, dealing with a range of issues including food complaints, infectious disease surveillance, enforcement, responding to licensing consultations and issuing export health certificates.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills and have the ability to organise your workload in an effective and productive way.
The ability to travel throughout the Stirling Council area is essential and Council pool cars are available. A full driving licence is required.
