THE OPPORTUNITY
Qualified Forklift Truck Driver
Team Swift are looking for an FLT Driver to join our team immediately within our manufacturing Department.
We are looking for someone who is capable of working at pace and under pressure with a very high standard of work, this role requires a level of heavy lifting and moving heavy items across site using an FLT.
Although experience of working in the Caravan/Motorhome industry is preferred we will consider applications from other industries providing you can demonstrate the right skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
Loading, unloading and moving materials and components around the site.
Supplying production areas with materials as required.
Completing routine stock movements and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting general warehouse and manufacturing activities.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
Picking and moving items from stores
Emptying wastebins when needed
Deliver high standard of work to ensure quality targets are met
Compliance with Health & Safety requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Valid FLT license is essential
· Must be a confident and safe driver of FLT and comfortable in moving heavy goods
· Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
· Strong teamwork skills is essential
