Groundworker

We are looking for reliable Groundworkers to join our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Raynes Park. The role will involve supporting a range of groundwork operations with a particular focus on dumper work, loading activities, spoil heap management, and topsoil handling to help deliver safe and high-quality projects.

• Operating Forward Tipping Dumpers safely and efficiently (ticket essential)
• Loading and moving materials across site to support ongoing operations
• Managing and maintaining spoil heaps in line with site and environmental requirements
• Topsoil stripping, spreading and grading works as directed by site management
• General groundworks including digging, backfilling and concreting
• Assisting with externals including slabs, kerbs and edgings where required
• Assisting plant operators and banking 360 machines and dumpers
• Basic drainage and ducting works as directed by the Foreman
• Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant with site rules
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery and site productivity

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket (essential)
• CSCS Labourer/Groundworker card or equivalent, with proven site experience
• Experience working with spoil heaps, loading operations and topsoil works
• Confident carrying out general groundworks tasks under supervision
• Able to follow drawings, levels and instructions from supervisors
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

• CPCS/NPORS Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny ticket
• Safety Critical Medical
• Experience working on RC frame and large-scale groundwork projects

* Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch – we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
