About the role and about you
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will provide operational and administrative support to coordinate and deliver SGCH's Work Health and Safety (WHS) activities. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety systems, supporting incident management, coordinating audits and inspections, monitoring contractor compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a Health & Safety team, and is passionate about creating safer workplaces through strong coordination, collaboration, and attention to detail.
This is a permanent role, based at our XX office and requires travel to other SGCH office locations as required.
Duties

Support incident management processes, including documentation, investigations, corrective actions and risk mitigation recommendations

Complete and coordinate risk assessments and related documentation

Manage contractor safety processes, including inductions, onboarding and compliance monitoring.

Analyse WHS data and prepare reports that support governance forums and leadership decision-making.

Coordinate Health & Safety Committee meetings, agendas and minutes.

Deliver WHS communications, training coordination and policy updates.

Provide advice and guidance to leaders and team members on WHS obligations, risk management and safe work practices.
