Check the production scheduling board each morning and occupy the relevant work station that you have been assigned to.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, manufacturing procedures and health & safety requirements precisely (e.g. using the correct personal protective equipment).
Be flexible to changing production requirements, and move promptly to another workstation/production area when requested.
Hand assemble materials provided with the tools and equipment provided at your work station.
Operate machinery to assemble materials.
Ensure a high attention to detail.
Monitor production quality regularly, ensuring high quality finished and sub-assembly product, escalate issues to the relevant Line Leader.
Report all equipment faults to a Line Leader immediately.
Make all reasonable effort to meet production targets.
Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment, based on 5S principles.
Maintain high quality standards and strive for continuous improvement
Communicate effectively with the line manager.
Communicate effectively with the Operations Coordinator.
Communicate effectively with the Quality team (communicate issues).
Do what is possible to accommodate special requirements.
Show support and cooperation with other staff in the use of resources.
Show respectful and positive attitude towards staff and colleagues.
