- Follow defined quality standards and ESD procedures, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the build
- Complete batch records, build reports, and other traceability documents accurately
- Use hand tools and semi-automated equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area in line with 5S and lean manufacturing principles
- Attend daily team huddles, share ideas, and support colleagues to meet production goals
- Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly
- Understand how your work contributes to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and product quality
Person Specification (Required)
- Strong interest in electronics or mechanical assembly
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and tools
- Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings, and build documentation
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Person Specification (Preferred)
- Previous experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or box build assembly
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and ESD controls
