Production Operator (Nights) – Manufacturing, Encapsulation & Soft Gel Departments

Due to continued business growth and increased production demand, we are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production Operators to join our Manufacturing, Encapsulation and Soft Gel Departments on a permanent night shift.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

About the Role

As a Production Operator you will play an important role in the manufacture of high-quality health supplement products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing products safely, efficiently, and to production schedule requirements.
• Manufacturing tablets, capsules and soft gel capsules and liquid products to the highest quality standards.
• Operating production equipment and machinery to achieve performance and quality targets.
• Preparing and setting up machinery prior to production runs.
• Conducting routine equipment checks and testing.
• Completing manufacturing documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhering to GMP, Food Safety, BRCGS, quality, and health & safety standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.

Shift Patterns

Manufacturing and Softgel:  4 Nights On / 4 Nights Off

• 6:00pm to 6:00am
• 12-hour shifts
• Permanent nights

This shift pattern provides regular extended periods of time off whilst maintaining full-time hours.

Encapsulation:  3.5 Nights, Monday - Friday

• 6:00pm to 6:0am – Monday – Wednesday
• 6pm – 12 Midnight - Thursday
• Permanent nights

This shift pattern provides regular extended periods of time off whilst maintaining full-time hours.

Pay & Progression

Starting Rate: £12.75 per hour

Training Progression: Increase up to £14.75 per hour through our structured training and skills matrix.

Night Shift Premium: Additional £1.00 per hour

Quarterly Production Bonus Scheme

What We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Comfortable completing documentation accurately.

Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, food production, pharmaceutical, or FMCG experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
