We are working closely with Sefton MBC to assist with the appointment of a Regional Care Cooperative Communications Lead, on a 6.5-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £21.00- £27.82 per hour

Summary:

The Regional Care Cooperative Communications Lead is responsible for leading and delivering high-quality internal and external communications across the Regional Care Cooperative. Working closely with the Regional Care Cooperative Delivery Director, the post holder will develop and implement communication strategies that ensure colleagues, communities, partners and stakeholders have access to clear, accurate and timely information.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Regional Care Cooperative Delivery Director in planning, developing and implementing internal and external communications activities.
  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day media relations activities, ensuring high-quality communications materials and consistent messaging.
  • Coordinate internal communications activity and ensure consistency of messages across the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal and external communications through innovative approaches and emerging communication channels.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent professional qualification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional training or experience in media relations, corporate communications or public-sector communications would be advantageous.

Essentials:

  • Significant experience working within a complex public relations, media or communications environment.
  • Experience providing communications advice and support to senior managers and/or elected representatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering internal and external communication plans, campaigns and materials.
