We’re looking for a practical, detail-focused Fabricator to join our team at Witheridge. About The Role
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday
As a Fabricator, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality steelwork, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining a safe and organised working environment. You’ll work closely with the Site Foreman and wider team to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently. This is a varied role that combines technical skill with teamwork and a proactive mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing daily fabrication tasks with care and efficiency
Delivering high-quality work with accuracy and attention to detail
Reporting equipment faults and supporting workshop safety
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-conscious workspace
Following company procedures and health & safety regulations
Supporting other duties as needed and contributing to a positive team environment
About You
Practical experience in fabrication or welding
Experience working in a workshop or yard environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings would be beneficial
Understanding of welding techniques and equipment
Awareness of health & safety regulations
Good communication and teamwork skills
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Strong sense of ownership and pride in workmanship
