A little more about your role…
WSP’s Local Government team in Cardiff are looking to recruit an Associate Director (Structural Engineering) into our Highway Infrastructure team. In this role you will lead our Local Government Structural Engineering team - driving technical excellence, managing project delivery, and mentoring a team of talented engineers.
As a senior member of the team, you will work collaboratively with our local government clients across South Wales – ensuring that our team meets and exceeds client expectations and that client relationships are maintained and developed. Currently the role will focus on WSP's work with Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend councils
This is a varied role where you will get to lead on a wide variety of local projects focused mainly around highway structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls etc.). You and your team will be involved in design, inspection, assessment, and feasibility studies; providing great variety for you and your team.

The role is based in WSP’s Cardiff office (Quest House), working alongside colleagues from across WSP’s broad range of disciplines. We operate a hybrid working model that allows for a mix of in-office and home working.
