The Project
Since 2019, Mace and Dragados, working as MDJV, have led the design and construction of HS2 Euston. As part of an integrated team with HS2, MDJV coordinates delivery of the high speed station, including platforms, concourse and links to the London Underground within one of the country’s most complex urban environments. The station features six deep level high speed platforms, positioned around 9 metres below street level and designed to support trains up to 400m in length.

The role

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of allocated packages, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and delivering value for money. You will work as part of the Construction Delivery team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

· Manage subcontract packages from procurement to final account.

· Collate tender documentation and administer tenders.

· Establish cost control systems and administer client and subcontract changes.

· Provide risk and opportunity reporting mechanisms.

· Mitigate risks and protect package/project margin.

· Enhance profit through value engineering and cost reduction measures.

· Prepare monthly commercial reports and forecasts.

· Operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team and support net zero carbon transition

You’ll need to have

· Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.

· Professional membership (RICS / ICES / MCIOB) or equivalent demonstrable experience.

· Strong commercial management experience on major infrastructure projects.

· Excellent knowledge of contract administration and cost management.
