Day General Operative
Hours: 6am – 4pm
Location: Penmaenmawr
Salary: £13.68 - £13.93ph
Join Our Team
We are seeking reliable, hardworking General Operatives to support our busy Production and Distribution functions. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop new skills. Full in‑house training is provided.
About the Role
As a General Operative, you will carry out a range of duties across our site, including:
Production Responsibilities
Operating high-speed bagging lines as part of the manufacturing process.
Maintaining consistent product quality suitable for the retail market.
Completing all in‑process documentation accurately and on time.
Performing regular maintenance checks on bagging lines.
Working to daily production plans and ensuring line efficiency is maximised.
Loading & Distribution Responsibilities
Moving stock safely and efficiently.
Loading heavy goods vehicles in line with despatch requirements.
Accurately picking and preparing orders according to picking tickets.
Supporting forklift and shovel operations once fully trained.
What We’re Looking For
A strong team player with a flexible approach.
Ability to follow safe systems of work and meet Health & Safety requirements at all times.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different duties as needed.
Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential — full training is provided.
Qualifications
A current Counterbalance Forklift Certificate is preferred.
Training can be provided for suitable candidates.
