QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN WANTED

Provide facilities support as part of a team to ensure that building infrastructure (structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and grounds are available, maintained, repaired and improved in a safe and complaint state, suitable for business operational needs.

This includes joining a one week in 6 on-call rota. You may have opportunity to work paid overtime but this is not guaranteed.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinating and undertaking electrical installation and fault-finding activities, corrective works and improvements and managing the LOTO program.
• Performing planned and unplanned facilities related maintenances, Inspections, repairs and upgrades in line with instructions, and to standard and provide support for projects, factory acceptances, new Product Introductions, 5S, KPI updates and improvement initiatives.
• Updating, maintaining and improving SCARA and PLC program and capabilities.

Who you are:

• Multi skilled Technician with electrical bias and good working knowledge of SCADA and PLC programming and management.  HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical discipline.  18th edition & Initial and periodic Inspection and testing 2391.52 desired.
• Technical understanding of Building distribution, load management, billing and sustainability.
• Team player with safety mindset and good communication skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience within a manufacturing and/or clean room environment, understanding of HVAC, extraction systems.
• Qualifications and / or demonstrated competency in supportive disciplines e.g. FGAS, Freeze Dryers, welding, fire standards /certification...
