Marlborough is currently recruiting for General Operatives / Labourers to join our London team based in Newham and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking general instructions from the Foreman and Supervisors
- Shovelling
- Lifting, carrying materials
- Set up pedestrian barriers
- Pick and deliver products using a forklift (training given)
- Trained to operate handheld tools (disc cutter, Whackers)
- General housekeeping -keeping yard open space, internal storage area clean and tidy free from hazards
- Ability to work well in a team and willing to learn
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS card essential but not required
- Ideally previous experience in the construction/highways/civil engineering industry
