General Operative – Join Our Production & Distribution Team

Location: Pottal Pool
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: Competitive

Are you hands‑on, reliable and ready to be part of a high‑performing production and distribution team? We’re looking for a motivated General Operative to support our fast-paced site operations. Full training is provided—so if you’re eager, hardworking and safety‑conscious, we’d love to meet you!

About the Role

As a General Operative, you’ll play a vital part across our production and loading/distribution processes. Your role could include:

  • Operating high‑speed bagging lines to support continuous production

  • Providing forklift truck support (training provided)

  • Supporting the loading of heavy goods vehicles for dispatch

  • Managing the safe movement of stock

  • Providing cover for forklift or shovel drivers when trained

You’ll receive full in‑house training and continuous support to help you excel in all aspects of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working accurately to the daily production plan

  • Completing and maintaining all required in‑process documentation

  • Ensuring consistent, high‑quality products suitable for retail

  • Picking orders accurately following supplied picking tickets

  • Upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety

  • Carrying out regular maintenance on bagging line equipment

  • Optimising the efficiency of bagging lines

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to operate machinery safely (full training provided)

  • Willingness to drive forklift trucks when trained

  • Strong team player with a flexible, proactive approach

  • Ability to follow company Health & Safety guidelines

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate is desirable

  • Training can be provided if required
