Groundwork Labourer

Essential Role Requirements:

·         Strong understanding and experience in general labouring tasks on construction sites

·         Ability to assist tradespeople with a variety of tasks, including material handling, site preparation, and general maintenance

·         Experienced in working safely around live services and adhering to health and safety protocols

·         Proactive, with good time management skills

·         Responsible for replenishing materials, maintaining clean and safe site conditions, and ensuring safe access routes

• Able to perform daily pre-start safety checks on equipment and report maintenance requirements to site management

Desirable:

·         Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets for machinery operation such as Telehandlers, Dumpers, and Rollers

·         1-2+ years’ experience in construction labouring, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Experience working as part of a team or gang is highly valued
