We are working exclusively with a highly reputable nationwide facilities management contractor who work with well known Retail stores, High Street Outlets, Historic Buildings, Further Education and Local Authorities etc - responsible for all areas of building maintenance.
Due to expansion, they are currently looking to recruit a labourer to join the Edinburgh team supporting the engineers on-site.
The purpose of this role is to Assist the Technicians to complete all maintenance, repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. General Job responsibilities would be - Assisting Tradesman, Waste Runs, General Down takings, Minor Building Repairs, Collecting Materials.
Role:
- Providing a reactive maintenance service - supporting the technicians with day to day duties
- Assessing the requirements of works and carry out repairs as and when necessary.
- Assisting Tradesman, Waste Runs, General Down takings, Minor Building Repairs, Collecting Materials.
Person:
- You must be based in the Glasgow area and you must hold a full uk driving licence
- Experienced labourer/trade
- Ideally experienced in domestic/commercial properties
- IT literacy, use of tablet technology is essential regards updating and completing works administration.
- High level of customer service skills are key to this role as there is a great deal of client and customer interaction.
- A flexible attitude towards working hours is required due to the nature of the contract & client’s needs.
- A can do attitude with a high degree of problem solving skills and behaviours should be evident.
- Health & Safety certificates and experience e.g. CSCS, SPA, IPAF, PASMA would be an advantage.
Package:
- Starting salary of £25,396
