Lead Civil Engineer/ Responsable ingénierie charpente sur site Hinkley Point C

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the steel structure discipline within the “Arabelle Solutions” Site Technical Office based at the Hinkley Point C site in the United Kingdom.
• Monitor the steel structure contractor on site on a daily basis and respond to technical questions (Technical Queries – TQ).
• Coordinate responses with the steel structure design office based in Italy and the layout team based in France.
• Implement on site the design change requests issued by the project (Design Change Request – DCR) through the preparation of Field Site Instructions (FSI).
• Coordinate input data among the various stakeholders: general layout & structure & piping teams, steel structure design office, steel structure supplier, and erection contractor.
• Manage BIM “IFC” files using Navisworks Manage (clash detection, design verification, progress monitoring, etc.).
• Manage project documents and deliverables using the “Master Tracking Application” (MTA): deliverables schedule, reporting, etc.

Reporting Line:

• The site-based civil engineer reports functionally to the Civil Engineering Department Manager and operationally to the Site Manager.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong experience in a civil engineering design office for industrial projects, ideally in the energy sector.

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency with codes and standards such as Eurocodes and the International Building Code (IBC).
• 2D CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of BIM software (TEKLA, REVIT, BIM Vision, Navisworks Manage).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent command of English required (reading / writing / speaking).

Ingénieur(e) génie civil responsable charpente métallique au bureau technique "Arabelle Solutions" basé sur le site d'Hinkley Point C en Grande Bretagne (Site Technical Office - STO)

Principales tâches et responsabilités :

• Piloter la partie charpente du bureau technique « Arabelle Solutions » basé sur le site d’Hinkley Point C en Grande Bretagne

• Suivre quotidiennement l’entreprise de charpente métallique sur site et répondre aux questions techniques (Technical Queries – TQ)

• Coordonner les réponses avec le bureau d’étude charpente basé en Italie et l’arrangement basé en France.

• Implémenter sur site les demandes de changement de design provenant du projet (Design Change Request – DCR) via la rédaction des instructions sites (Fields Site Instruction - FSI)

• Coordonner les données d’entrées entre les différents intervenants installation générale & structure & tuyauterie, bureau d’étude charpente, entreprise de montage et fourniture de charpente.

• Manager en BIM les fichiers « IFC » avec Navisworks Manage (détection de collision, vérification du design, suivi de l’avancement, etc.…).

• Gérer les documents et livrables projet avec l’outil "Master Tracking Application" (MTA), planning des livrables, reporting, etc…

Rapport hiérarchique :

·        L’ingénieur génie civil basé sur site rend compte fonctionnellement au responsable du département génie civil, et opérationnellement au responsable site.

Formation et expérience :

• De formation ingénieur en génie civil (niveau Master bac + 5)

• Vous justifiez de minimum 5 ans d'expérience en bureau d'étude génie civil pour des projets industriels, idéalement dans l’énergie.

Connaissances et compétences spécifiques :

• Suite Microsoft

• Maitrise de l’anglais indispensable (lu / écrit / parlé)
