The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week.
We are looking for successful applicants to work the following shift patterns.
Days from 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday, candidates must also have the flexibility to cover a 3-shift rotating pattern and weekends when necessary. Basic salary will be £47,050 per annum
Monday to Friday 3-shift rotating pattern. Basic salary will be £52,416 per annum
Weekend shift pattern which comprises of 2 x 12 hour shifts on a weekend and 2 x 8 hour shifts during the week. Basic salary will be £65,733 per annum
Working within the Maintenance Department, and with the support and direction of the Maintenance Leadership Team, the Maintenance Electrician will ensure all equipment is operating to the required standards to ensure safe operation and to maintain production requirements and quality standards.
The objective is to improve the Safety, Quality and Overall Efficiency of the department, concentrating primarily on the maintenance aspects that can contribute to this improvement.
Candidates will use their knowledge and skills to fault-find and diagnose electrical problems on PLC controlled machinery within a complex and high volume manufacturing area. Experience with AC/DC motors and Servo Drive systems is desirable. The post also calls for the ability to carry out electrical installation duties.

Candidates must be comfortable working within a team environment where highly developed interpersonal skills are essential and where initiative is required to solve problems. Previous experience in a high volume modern manufacturing environment is desirable. Applicants must be time-served and 17th/18th Edition qualification would be preferred.
