Coinford are specialists in groundwork and concrete frame construction, delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East.

We’re looking for a proactive Gateman with a strong logistics mindset to manage site access while supporting the day-to-day coordination of deliveries and materials on a busy construction site.

This is more than a standard gateman position — you’ll be a key part of site operations, controlling access while working closely with the foreman to manage deliveries, materials, and site logistics efficiently.

• Control site access, checking ID, credentials, and maintaining site security

• Manage entry and exit of vehicles, plant, and deliveries safely and efficiently

• Coordinate daily deliveries, liaising with the foreman on locations and priorities

• Direct vehicles and traffic on-site (traffic marshalling)

• Monitor and manage materials coming in and out of site, checking delivery tickets

• Support with organising and storing materials safely on-site

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised gate and delivery area

• Assist site teams with general logistics and hands-on support where required

• Respond effectively to site incidents or emergencies when needed

• CSCS / GQA / NPORS card

• Confident traffic marshalling experience

• Strong understanding of site operations and material handling

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with site teams

• Reliable, proactive, and able to take ownership of the role

• Right to work in the UK

• Previous storeman or logistics experience

• First Aid at Work certification

• Traffic Marshal certification
