Groundworker (Deep Drainage)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deep Drainage Groundworker to join our team, working on drainage installations at depths of 2–3 metres. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep drainage, be safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively as part of a team on site.

• Carry out deep drainage works at depths of 2–3 metres
• Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems including pipes and manholes
• Trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling in accordance with site specifications
• Ensure all work is completed to health and safety standards
• Work alongside plant operators and other site personnel
• Read and interpret site drawings and plans
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Valid CSCS Card (essential – minimum requirement)
• Proven experience in deep drainage (2–3m)
• Ability to work in trenches safely and follow safety procedures
• Good understanding of groundwork and drainage systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

• CPCS/NPORS plant tickets
• Confined space training
• Previous experience on construction or civil engineering sites
