Road Sweeper & ADT Operative

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a versatile Road Sweeper & Articulated Dumper Driver to join our team on a busy project in Harlow. This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining site cleanliness with plant operation, supporting the smooth and safe running of site activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating road sweepers to maintain clean, safe and compliant site conditions
• Driving articulated dump trucks to transport materials across site efficiently
• Carrying out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on all plant and equipment
• Ensuring all plant is operated safely and in line with site procedures
• Supporting site teams with general duties as required
• Adapting to changing site needs and priorities
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Adhering to all site health, safety and environmental regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Articulated Dumper Ticket
• HGV Licence with Driver CPC
• Safety Critical Medical
• Proven experience operating plant and working on construction sites
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

• Previous experience operating road sweepers on construction or infrastructure projects
• Additional plant tickets (e.g. Ride-On Roller, Forward Tipping Dumper)
• Experience working on large-scale groundwork or civils projects
• Flexible approach to site duties and responsibilities
