Traffic Management Surveyor Cad Technician
Sunbelt Rentals CareersIn this role you’ll be joining our Traffic Management specialist team. We’re the UK’s largest portable traffic signals hire company and a leading supplier of temporary traffic management solutions. Our equipment for hire includes temporary traffic lights, variable message signs, cones, lights and barriers.
- Design traffic management solutions. Conduct site surveys to assess road layout, traffic flow, risks, and constraints.
- Produce or amend traffic management drawings using CAD software where required.
- Supervise and support TMOs during installation of complex schemes.
- Conduct site quality audits to ensure compliance.

Ensuring customers are coached on the correct use of the equipment and are able to operate the equipment safely

Ensure documentation is accurate and current.

Administration duties and helping the depot hire controller.
The role requires regular site attendance and outdoor work in varying conditions

To succeed as a Traffic Surveyor you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours
- Past experience of working with various Traffic Control Systems within a similar role along with NRSWA certification is essential.
- You must possess a valid driving licence
- A flexible attitude to work and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working with CAD drawings and completing HA applications would be advantageous
